A comprehensive and informative program that introduces and reinforces important points of the college/university selection process, recruiting issues, and specific academic eligibility requirements for student athletes that wish to compete at various collegiate levels.
This on-site interactive training is designed for student athletes, families, athletic departments, coaching staffs, administrators, and guidance counselors to understand rules, regulations, and the steps necessary in successfully selecting a college, university, or technical school.

  • Questions to ask as you consider colleges, universities, and technical schools
  • What to look for in a post high school athletic program
  • How to contact coaches and get necessary exposure - selling your product
  • Explanation of NCAA Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse

Presenters:  
M. Scott Ott  has a diverse and exceptional educational and sports background. Trained as an educator, B.S. and M.Ed. from University of Wisconsin La Crosse, Mr. Ott has taught and coached for over thirty years, and has lead athletic teams to the UK, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Canada, and Puerto Rico since 1994.

Brian Meeter  a former university professor and NCAA Division II, Division III, NJCAA and NAIA Collegiate Volleyball Coach. Earning a B.A from Loras College and an M.A. from the University of South Dakota Brian is currently the Executive Director of the La Crosse, WI Area Sports Commission, Brian has first hand knowledge of the roadblocks, issues, and stress of college recruiting.
