possible. Teams will be

-
Safety
is our first concern, players
must remain for the entire program
unless prior arrangements have been
cleared or a parent/guardian is
present. There are liability issues and
we want to make sure all participants
are safe and accounted for.
- Viterbo
University baseball coaching staff and
team, led by head coach Chad Miller,
will be responsible for all curriculum,
instruction, and game day
administration.
- Equipment: all equipment will be
provided including non-aluminum bats.
Aluminum bats will not be used. Players
are welcome to bring personal bats,
helmets, catcher’s equipment etc.
Please make
sure all personal equipment is marked
for identification. We also ask
that our equipment remains our equipment
as we have had some loss in the past.
- Uniforms: each player will be issued a
uniform (jersey, belt, socks and hat)
at the initial instructional session,
those that do not attend may pick up
uniforms at USJT Office, 123 North 7th
Street, La Crosse.
- Players must
wear issued uniform for all activity. In
addition players must
wear white or grey baseball pants. Pants
are available through the USJT office.
Please do not appear without the full
uniform as you will not be allowed to
participate –
this is non-negotiable.
This is a class program and players are
required to dress accordingly.
- All
activities will be closely supervised by
V-Hawk Baseball School
staff. All
players, family members, and guests will
exhibit outstanding sportsmanship,
appropriate behavior, clean language,
and a specific respect for the game.
Those who cannot comply will be
immediately excused. Your cooperation is
greatly appreciated.
- Weather
issues: A decision will be made as early
as possible regarding weather and status
of program/game(s). Cancelled
programs/games will not be made up.
Players will be notified by email, those
without email or those with doubt as to
the program being held need to call if there is
questionable weather. Players may also
call 608-782-6546, Viterbo Baseball
Clubhouse, which will have a recorded
message. Please make sure all player
contact information is correct.
- Conflicts; we very much understand there
will be conflicts; you do not need to
provide a reason only please notify me
via email should you be unable to attend
so we can make sure there are enough
players present to conduct our games.
Please
contact me with any additional questions or
concerns, any comments and input are always
welcome as long as they are presented in
courteous manner. This program is a huge
project and requires a large time
commitment. Please know that every effort is
made to make it as excellent and equitable
as it can be.
I look
forward to seeing old faces and meeting new
families, please do not take offense if your
face and name escapes me, just reintroduce
yourself and we shall go forward.
On behalf of
Chad Miller and the Viterbo University
Baseball Program, we very much look forward
to a great fall season.
Kind
regards,
Scott Ott
